Now that we’ve entered that special season of horror (Halloween, elections…) I have some important advice for you. No, not to vote (although you should), and no, not to buy my upcoming horror novel, The Lamia, (though you might), but to binge-read Maria Alexander and her two Bram Stoker award-winning novels, Mr. Wicker, and Snowed (yes, you must). She is the master word-slinger, and I hope to grow up to be like her some day. Well, the word-singing part, not the sword part. I’d end up cutting off something useful.
